There is this saying, 'Good things come in small packages.'

Well, I'm pretty sure they meant 270 sqft.

As its name suggests, 270 sqft is a tiny hideout for coffee enthusiasts looking for a quick grab-and-go or occasional dine-ins (subject to table availability). The cafe's eye-catching bright green and whitewashed exterior standouts among rows of traditional coffee shops in the bustling Sea Park neighbourhood, making it hard to miss.

Despite its small space, 270 sqft offers a warm and chill-out environment along with, you've guessed it, great-tasting coffee!

Proof that the coffee looks as good as it tastes and one must not forget the dessert!

At 270 sqft, each cup of coffee comes with a description card, much like an info guide for inquisitive souls curious about the beans' origins and flavours. I personally found the cards interesting and educational enough. To some extent, being "enlightened" did help to elevate my coffee-tasting experience which I loved.

For our visit that day, we tried the Latte Neat and a classic White. Both tasted absolutely delightful to me, especially the White (the beans of the day were Sitio Mae Da Providencia from Brazil). Being personally fond of more chocolaty/nutty coffee notes, I enjoyed the White a lot and would definitely revisit for it.

Besides beverages, 270 sqft also offers a small food menu, made up mostly of cakes and bagels. We had their peppermint chocolate cake and the smoked salmon bagel. The former paired better with the coffee compared to the bagel, however, both were reasonably palatable.

Overall, 270 sqft makes the cut as a potential contender for my list of best coffee houses in 2021. There is no doubt I will be revisiting this place soon to explore some of their other offerings including the Yuzu Tonic coffee. Maybe I will catch you guys there sometime?
